Is there a more based architectural style than brutalism? I don't think so.

I personally don't like it. I find it too cold and life less, but I guess that's the charm of it. I like simple small white houses with red roofs from small coastal towns, I always feel kind of nostalgic looking at them even tho I never lived in one.

wow
just
wow
I hope they used concrete of a good quality. would be a real pity seeing this beautiful building becoming darker and uglier
>>69675403
pretty sure its a psychological weapon against the lower classes who are forced to live in or close to these buildings.
>>69677240
don't worry this isn't for the lower classes

This isn't so bad.
I just can't stand the dirty ass concrete.
Reminds me too much of all my college buildings.
>>69678959
well of course it looks smoother when its clean light concrete
>>69678345
>Brutalism

yes? landscaping was common in all modernist architectural schools.
the only architecture that doesn't involve landscaping is the pomo shit they build today.
>>69675822

brutalism =/= socrealism
>>69681408

I live in a brutalist building.
I didn't know how it was called, thanks, and yes, it is very based
when I think of that I think of enormous mansions hidden someplace in a norwegian fjord
This is the Germany's Federal Chancellery.
Brutalism, or not?

interesting, a modern ziggurat.
not only that the windows look really great on this building, they also prevent from looting.
