Mexican food has more acid tastes, especially for sauces and condiments while italian food tries to avoid acidity in their plates.

I vote for mexican. Personally I prefer georgian cuisine (many cheese and many kinds of meat) over mexican, and mexican over italian(it's more like multinational cuisine now than italian). I like turkish cuisine too, which is mix of balkan, caucasian, anatolian and arab cuisine
