Why do you guys hate each other anyway?
>>69291437
No EU gibs and oligarchs.
>>69291858
Poles hate us for Volyn and generally for not being Poles
We hate Poles for history of oppression. Although "hate" is a bit harsh
>>69291991
>No eu gibs
lol just a few whole world gibs
>>69292283
Whole world gibs would be great if not for this war. Thank you Ruski
>>69291991
>history of oppression
You mean your own opression?
>>69291437
It's a mystery
>>69291991
>No EU gibs
>>69295022
Acccess to western market and acceptable standards for investment protection and freedom of enterprise that EU and associated countries enjoy is vastly more important than the token EU investment funds.
Anyone who thinks that "eu gibs" are a deciding factor (even though they do help) is either ignorant or dishonest, possibly both.

The EU gibs are not the deciding factor, but they sure do help. Improving the infrastructure makes Poland a lot more attractive for potential investors.

>Improving the infrastructure makes Poland a lot more attractive for potential investors.
Indeed. I'm not disputing that, in fact I'm very appreciative. I just get angry when someone's pretending as if entirety of the recovery and development was due to alms from western government.
Without belittling importance of public investment >>69295335 I maintain that much more important was adoption of western standards of protection of private property, including investment property, and of government support for industry, and exposure of domestic entrepreneurial environment to western competition.
Ukrainian (or Russian) economies are pretty closed systems allowing for very corrupt conglomerate, Czech and Polish ones are under pressure from western corporations and european institutions.
I'd unironically rather give up on EU funds than return control of market regulation fully into hands of our politicians.

I think this is a very important aspect. Polish government cant go all corrupt and dictatorish without losing the EU gibs, and this really helps to make Poland a more stable and attratvice location for invesment
they prefer russia as friend, same shit happened with chmielnicki
