I've probably only had real wasabi at authentic restaurants, only found that out the other day, there's a couple that grow it in vic or tas, I cant remember, but yeah, pretty weird that they can get away with false labelling

real wasabi is like a powdery dry lump (the stuff I had was) and I had to mix it with the soy to make it a dipping sauce. the stuff that is like a toothpaste consistency in the little packets are horseradish, they are part of the same family so I think that's why its all ok. I still like both though
