I never store bread in the freezer or the fridge. It's appalling, especially in the freezer. People who do this need to be shot, it ruins the integrity of the bread.

most of the bread Americans buy is filled with preservatives it doesn't matter anyway. Keep in mind most Americans do not buy fresh bread from a bakery.
