Germans are actually really shit at English, though, even the ones on here. They always make bizarre syntax errors because they dub absolutely everything that's English into their language and don't get proper practice as a result.

Even if we didn't have flags I'd still be able to recognize German posters because you can recognize the mistakes they make.

Danish is extremely similar to English when it comes to grammar.
However, we have some of the most advanced phonology in the world, so we have a lot of pronouncing English correctly in general and usually have a thick accent.

It's cute when yanks try and speak Danish though, because of the accents which almost seem like a racist caricature of the average american. There's an american woman at my local supermarket who pretty much speaks like this.
