By combining latin words with polish language and slavic mechanics with all that archaic constructions we had remained, still we could communicate by using only kurwa + 3 verbs which mean literally fucking and some other 50 words. In Cree, there are many different dialects. So words vary depending on where you're from. In my dialect, we have quite a few loan words from french, due to the residential school run by frenchies in my reserve back then which then they literally beated it into our language.
For example;
The words we use for potatoe is
"Lapatâk"
Which is from french
"La pomme de terre"
We say "merci" for thanks
And the words for mom and dad are
"Nimama" and "nipapa"

Faroese is currently going through a purification phase similar to Icelandic 100 years ago. All words that are of Danish or English origin are actively being replaced (while we are importing Icelandic ones), even words that have Danish cognates are being removed. In Estonian we have the word "kiil", which has 4 meanings, 2-3 of them are Low German loans.
