I'm not sure, basically all the media I consume is anglo. Music, movies, lectures, games, I grew up with this.
Suddenly I knew english, but I don't really remember when it happened.

It's still nowhere near the weight of influence of our native tongues. If it wasn't, the vast majority of inhabitants in every country (and the world) would speak english with no problems whatsoever. We all know that's not the case.
What really happens is that people learn to say some words in english (and usually with an accent) like shopping, off etc. No one really learns english by listening/consuming the media alone
