Why does Canada have so many paki-sounding names for their states?

the rest of those for all that i know are derived from native/abbo words so I don't particularly see where you conclude that they're paki

Come on Nigel, I would have thought you of all countries would know more about what sounds Paki and what doesn't.

Those "paki sounding names" are derived from Native American word

Examples:

>Ottawa = Algonquin word meaning "Trade"
>Toronto = Huron word meaning "Plenty"
>Winnipeg = Cree word meaning "Muddy waters"
>Manitoba = Cree word meaning "Strait of the Spirit"
>Saskatchewan = Cree word meaning "Swiftly flowing"

etc..
