And nowadays were just a fat consumerist farm meant to buy cheap slave labor shit. There is a cultural aversion to intellectualism, and everything is built around laziness and convenience.

Whole cities are built around the car so you move as little as possible and you even get a fat scooter so you don't have to walk when you get to the store.
