People do what is easy. It's fucking cold here (an inch of actual ice on my window pane), yet I mostly sleep naked or in underwear because it's convenient to fuck my wife whenever I want.

If you don't fuck alot, have nasty sheets or mattress, live in poor conditions with pests and rodents, can't afford to heat their home needlessly, are uncomfortable naked or dirty enough that their bare skin soils their sheets to an egregious degree they will prefer to wear something to bed. There are lots of normal human reasons to prefer sleeping with clothes on, too. The shitty ones just come to mind first because while some people choose to sleep clothed, some people HAVE to sleep clothed and it's worth noting the reasons why.
