i know. gf and i call her autistic all the time. she can't be socialized either she hates almost all other dogs but once in a while she'll find one she likes and just follow it around. she won't play with it if it tries she just follows it around the park. plus she hates going anywhere. if we go to the beach she just figures out where "base camp" is and patrols it until we leave, just walking in a circle around our stuff.

plus she doesn't like to be pet really. once in a while she'll let me scratch her neck but mostly she just wants to be near me in silence.

t bh i'd get a mutt if could go back. but she's cute i guess.

next dog i get is going to be a korean meat dog. live in san diego and they show up on adoption pages quite a bit. a lot of them are from korea but i think some are actually rescued here.

Yeah they're great dogs. I've owned a Husky hybrid of some sort (got her in a shelter, was mostly likely mixed with a Chow) before and they're incredibly smart but eat more than any of my bully breeds. Was paying over $100 a month just to feed her proper food.

when i was a kid we had a husky/coyote/something else. friend of my dads found a few puppies a few months old under his house, they'd been sneaking into his pig area to eat slop. he left them alone but only saw the mother a couple times so he gave them away.

we figure the mother didn't want to keep them with the others so they ditched them with humans. but i dunno. they were more than capable of traveling with a pack if they could.
