i'm actually surprised
i thought london would have something much older as a city hall
>>68589491
Well we do. There's the Mansion House which is the residence of the Lord Mayor. This dates from 1739 so it's almost 300 years old.
The City of London has had a Lord Mayor since 1189.
But the modern London boundaries needed a modern Mayor, since the City has remained its own thing within London, so we have the Mayor of London (new) as well as the Lord Mayor
>>68589628
A sultan of London you mean
>>68589684
Ah yes, that famous Canadian humour
We call it the white house
Córdoba Capital. Córdoba
It's not a big deal t.b.h

I got to tour it as an eighth grader when we went on a field trip and met the mayor. I think I still have a picture of me with Daley laying around somewhere.
Here's my city's city hall.
And my district's city hall.
before
>>68596628
after ;-;
>>68596664
inside it does look better tough
We like white washed walls here.
>>68596892
Very ay-rabesque
built during my city's golden age, it was the 3rd tallest building in the country when it was new
we used to have more grand old buildings like this, but many have been torn down over the years. it is very sad.
>>68596664
eww
>>68596628
comfy
Cute and simple
>>68596664
>>68596699
fucking waste of space and money
>>68596892
it must be so comfy to take a walk through there on a sunny afternoon, i bet you can even hear birds chirping in the background
noice
The combined amount of tax dollars it would have taken to construct the buildings in this thread is triggering me. The municipal government needs basic office space, nothing more. Put them in some nondescript office park.
>>68597441
t. non aesthetic country
It's pretty plain desu, the municipal building you can see to the right is better.
not from Boston
but I like their brutal hall
>>68598233
I appreciate nice architecture, but leave it to the private sector. The municipal government shouldn't be constructing grand buildings when there are still potholes in the streets, eroding sewer infrastructure, etc. And when the potholes and whatnot are fixed, then it's time to lower my goddamn taxes.
>>68587975
Pretty neat tbqh
>>68595596
is this where kevin costner fights the bad guy in the ending of "the untouchables"?
>>68599541
I've never seen that movie but I think that's Union Station you're thinking of. They look similar on the outside and inside so it's understandable to mistake them.
It's alright if you can stomach moderny stuff. I had a job interview on the top floor once and that was kinda neat.
LAST IN NFC EAST
Not really a city hall but alas
>>68598948
>not using buildings from the rennaissance and shiet
Whangarei old town hall.
Its now used as a migrant English study and Breau of civil justice these days.
people don't use it for anything else.
Its a shit building anyway the earthquake of 1967 made its structure crack right down the middle.
Its never been fixed properly.
the Remu wood floors on the stairs are still on a angle because of it.
there are still people that woun't let it be bulldozed.
