I've never traveled with a swedish airline, so I don't know.
From the ones I've traveled with (KLM, Air Berlin, Ryan Air, EVA Air, Japan Airlines, Air China, Cathay Pacific and Thai Airways), I'd say I liked EVA Air or Thai Airways the most.
Ryan Air is the only one that has been awful, which I guess is to be expected when it's dirt cheap.

No its not, Rouge is just a subsidiary of Air Canada which is even worse. Seats were shit, barely any legroom, food was extremely shit and not for free and no fucking in-flight entertainment at all because the airplane was ancient.

I always heard AirCanada,was well regarded. I have never flown with them though because they are too expensive. I just drive to the states and fly from there, usually Delta.
I think you're just spokied because Lufthansa generally ranks as a top 10 airline, definitely the best in Europe follwed by the Swiss and French.
