Though we could hope for a revolution in NK that could raise pro-SK regime to the power. Then the both gov't could talk about reunification again.

Another possible scenario could happen when NK gets kicked out of UN and every country on earth cut diplomatic ties to NK. This could lead to imposing extreme sanctions to the country and even China can't do nothin bout it anymore because it's not a legit country. Eventually it would collapse from the inside and SK would eventually take over.

and ofc NK could always invade and fuck itself up.
