What are your thoughts on globalism? Good or bad?

Is good for the world, absolutely no harm would happen with such a perfect ideabsuch as globalization

If you're not benefiting from it it's because your country's economy is burdened by something that is gimping it in competition, like high taxation or too powerful unions.

What's the point of a free market when you're not competing with everything you have at your disposal?

/int/ is proof that globalism is a scourge.
We all come together, talk shit about each other's countries and learn about each other's languages, cultures, and memes. Imagine an /int/ that was made up of just Canada, a sort of quasi-facebook echo chamber where we sat bored because telling naughty jokes or learning about other countries wasn't only forbidden, but didn't actually exist in this world of open borders and total agreement (a very different thing than total harmony).
