Every winter. I love snow, but still waiting for it this year. I hope we get it before Christmas.

We get snow in Maryland but it's not much. Just powder so you can't build a comfy igloo.
Then the ploughs come and put them in piles on the sides of the roads.
They turn black from pollution and then freeze over.
It melts within a couple days and turns to black slush and mud. Cold brown puddles that gives the worst feeling when you accidentally step in them.
And then it snows again next week. Rinse and repeat.
At least it's better than Maryland summers.

Yes. Mid December through mid March, though infrequently as of late so that most Christmases are dry nowadays.

Can't imagine winter without it, though I've never been as keenly interested in winter sports as the average Slovene.
