Yes, the value of being in Manhattan is obviously a huge factor. Manhattan is the wealthy district in the financial capital of the planet. Vancouver is a large but much lesser city than New York and has a lot less to offer. Walk outside of that Vancouver home and you have a shitty neighborhood and a ways to go to get to downtown.
