A good representation of a typical Adirondack tourist town, in the county north of my home county. There's just something completely serene and peaceful but also wild and mysterious about living in a 97% white region that's the largest area of protected wilderness in the entire United States. Even though Northern Europe, the Cascades and the Rockies are technically more majestic to me and I'll live in all three eventually, there's just nothing like the unique, tangled black mountains up here.

Also, I really want to visit one of those small towns in an anime where cicadas are chirping in the evening, there's barely any cars on the road and people are slowly wandering through the roads having fun with their friends.
