Pabst Blue Ribbon beer and 1664 beer have almost the same visual identity.
Coincidence ? I don't think so

Mix these two beers and you have the perfect freedom beer
I like Kronenbourg for two reasons. Firstly, it's got a nice flavour for lager. Secondly, I feel good inside knowing that my superior British currency is helping to prop up the struggling French economy, since I am a great believer in charity and helping those less fortunate than ourselves, even when they're French

Are you a chav?

If Kronenbourg is 1664, what is this for you ?

Look at the ingredients next time you drink a can of 1664. It has glucose syrup, hop extract and all other kinds of shit in it. In Germany it wouldn't be allowed to be called beer due to the Reinheitsgebot (beer purity law).

I've never bought a can of 1664 in my life, I've only had it on draught in the pub.
>If Kronenbourg is 1664, what is this for you ?
It's nothing to me. Never seen it on draught. If I'm buying canned beer it will be some sort of local craft beer.

What a complete non-sequitur; having it on tap still doesn't make it beer.
>Ingredients: Water, barley malt, maize, wheat malt, colour:caramel, hop extract

I wasn't going for the non-sequitur I was making an excuse - I've never been in a position where I could read the ingredients.
So, what should I drink at the pub if I fancy a no-thrills continental lager? And what about the moral consequences of withdrawing my support to the French economy during this difficult period for them?

Hertog Jan is one of my favorites, but I've never seen it outside of the NL. You're probably better off with something local.
>And what about the moral consequences of withdrawing my support to the French economy during this difficult period for them?
Worry about your own economy first.
