I put up with the taste of beer, that's it. I feel like that's something everyone should be able to do.

I didn't like beer but I drank it a couple of times, I mostly stuck to cider or spirits when I wanted to get drunk.

Then when I was around 18 at a barbecue I had a bottle of beer just to fit in with the lads and like magic it tasted really good, instead of only tasting nasty bitterness it felt like I was drinking slightly sweet malty goodness, I think it's really just depends on how long it takes your taste buds to develop or acquire the taste.
