>>68022364
stockholm syndrome
>>68022364
You're culture and economies are too attractive to asian.
BEcause we view Americans as saviors who liberated Japanese from the military regime
Poland is Japan's best friend
Poland is USA's best friend
=Japan likes USA
>>68022402
Which is also kind of true? With them out of the way Japan has done exceptionally well for itself.
>>68022364

>>68022447
this
>>68022364
to not to get another one?
>>68022390
>You're culture
Americans are too young to have culture.
probably because Japan started the conflict with pearl Harbor, so they have to admit their fault
>>68022436
I don't think without American influence, Japan could have done as well as we do now
Japan was a backward country which could barely compete Italy in 1940s
>>68022364
They just pretend to like us. They are secretly plotting their revenge
America is our master
Because we never taught to hate the united states.
I was in Hiroshima until Grade9, and we study about the bomb every summer.
It was all about how horrible it was. I, at least never discussed why they did or was it right/wrong thing in class.
So we forget to have hatre.
>>68022364
You think so
Modern japs are docile.
>>68022568
Stupid meme. The rest of the world tries to make up new meaning for a word so they can have *something* over the US.
The whole world used to be Americaboos for our culture. They still are but they pretend not to be.
>>68022364
Why the fuck do we need to hate things 70 years ago like a gay
>>68025651
This is the real answer for the average Japones.
They get over stuff, and that's why they want the rest of the world to get over WWII too.
>>68022364
Because America looks like the Imperial of Japan.
>>68026278
The important issue for Japan is defensing against China and Russia.
Therefore Japan fought against China in 1895 and Russia in 1905.
After WW2, enemy of American has been communism groups, China and Russia. It's same with the Japan's issue.
>>68022568
American "culture" is currently a conglomerate of many different cultures, structured together by inherent American values instituted by the founding fathers, and held at the seams by a universal language.
We may not have a definitive, cultural essence, but it would be very ignorant of you to say that we don't have one at all.
>>68022364
japan economic miracle is attributed to american guidance. So you destroyed their cities but made them great again.

This. Also some states like Texas have a culture.
>>68022425
Japan no longer best friend of Poland!!!
Ukraine is best friend now!!!
>>68022364
I'm guessing the combined threat of China, Russia, north korea
Is more of a priority
Because Japan wants to pretend that World War II never happened.
>>68028364
How can you have culture when you've got no history?
>>68030932
Because culture is formulated by the inhabitants.
What is it that makes you assume that America has no history?
>>68031594
>by the inhabitants
From?
inb4 taco=culture
>>68022364
no, we don't like American fatty food!
>>68031594
Because 250 years is nothing. You have no roots.
>culture is formulated by the inhabitants
No, culture is formulated through historic experience and there is not enough of that in America to go around.
>>68022364

No one likes america.
>>68031972
>250 years is nothing
Oh one government which is more than most of Europe can say. We technically go back to circa 1600 when modern English was just starting.
>>68032371
>which is more than Europe can say
Changing governments only adds to the culture
>we technically go back to 1600
You still have no previous traditions to build upon, no real mythology. In Europe, there is continuity. People keep living where they ancestors lived. They connect to them. Sure those ancestors probably spoke a vastly different language and had an utterly different mindset but ultimately, we can say we were here. America as a whole is transplant of European culture onto another continent and that's why it's not viewed as a genuine culture.
