I mean it literally is. Its called sexual dysphoria.

Whats wrong with that? It being a mental illness doesnt mean it a bad thing or evil. Depression is a mental illness and I dont think anybody judges them as being bad people.

Sexual dysphoria should remain a mental illness and treatment should be paid for by the state only after an extensive physical and psychological evaluation, so only people who really need it can do it and not just attention whores.

So much for Sweden being a progressive country.

Here in Canada, it is now illegal to not use a trans* person's preferred pronoun (bill C-16 passed and Human Rights Act was amended).

We also teach our middle-schoolers about the difference between sex, gender identity, and gender expression, to help cultivate a more diverse and tolerant and loving and peaceful and accepting and safe society.

It'd make sense if actually targeted a real group of people, but transexuality is, in 90% of the cases, just the tfw-not-a-cute-japanese-girl meme taken too far. It's because they have such a skewed picture of "femininity" that these guys find such an appeal in the thought of being female.
