I'm Thai but we do have some similarities with phillipines.

Thailand does have many people who have strong Mon-Khmer blood. Even in the same family.

For example my aunt looks like pale East Asian Tai but my mom looks more Mon-Khmer.

Also just because Tais are East Asean doesn't mean were Chinese. Different ethnic group. Infact, we are superior to the Chinese.

Thailand and Phillipines share common Indic heritage(though most Flips are unaware of thiers lol). For example the Babayin and Kawi script are indic scripts. Also many words hint at Indic cultural influence before the bastard Spanish came. For example the Tagalog word "Diwata" or Devata is Sanskrit or เทวดา in Thai
