Turks were being utter assholes the last few stages of their rule and so we got pretty tired of their bullshit. Of course, the eternal Anglo made a lot of false promises that we fell for like fiddle. So maybe it would have been better to have diplomatically broken off from the Ottomans. Who knows. This shit was 100 years ago and we gotta focus on solving the problems now.
