There's plenty of Slavic genes in Turkey today, you can see in in the Y-DNA haplogroups. However, it's still a very mixed country, so you can find almost every type of person in there.

Fun-fact: Turks living on the European part of Turkey are haplogroup-wise identical to the Balkan population, but very different to Asian Turkey.
