I lived in Argentina for about a year. People were really crazy about what foods can and cant be mixed. No spicy and sweet stuff. No mate with watermelon, or any food really. Don't eat fruit and meat at the same time. Vegetables are bad.

Its insane how many weird rules you guys have about what you can eat. Everyone I asked said it was for health reasons, or they didn't want to shit themselves, but clearly the rest of the world manages to eat food without all that bullshit.

I was in the north tho, so I guess people are more traditionally minded than wherever you are (BA?).
I've had at least 20 people tell me I'd die if I ever mixed mate and watermelon, the same number tell me not to mix wine and watermelon or I'd shit myself, and a decent amount of other weird pieces of advice about what not to eat with what if I didn't want to die of intestinal problems or shit myself or get sick.
It's fucking weird. It's like you guys have so much good wine and sexually available women, you need to sperg out about food just so you can feel autistic once in a while.
