sure, what you want to discuss?

I don't know. It's just something very peculiar, so I was just thinking I'd make this thread to see what /int/ has to say. Personally I don't know much about them, so I'm hoping more people will respond.

I wonder if they put pineapple on their pizzas...

they are as short as eastern asians
Andaman and Aeta people seem to be genetically connected to them instead of other africans

Their genome may come in handy if we ever do engineer people to live in space, it's easier to engineer habitats for smaller people plus lower caloric requirements although light skin would also be a requirement given likely higher vitamin D requirements. Population management would also make it ideal to have this be female populations as that would mean a more docile and cooperative people less prone to violence in a high stress environment.

Apparently they were regularly eaten by other African tribes. How they even survived at all is a mystery

>live in space
>smaller people
>light skin

I once heard that pygmies had no native religious beliefs. I don't know if this is true but if it is that would be pretty cool

Funny fact: in their home countries, pygmies have traditionally been considered subhuman and hunted for food.
OK from doing a little research it seems that early explorers noted they had no totems rituals prayers or anything like that so they assumed them to be an atheist culture but we have no real way of knowing
