Not exactly those months, but they're in the northern hemisphere, so their seasons are reversed, which means that summer vacation is somewhere between July and September. And at the end of the year they only have a two or so weeks break.

School year starts in Fall, which is usually the 2-3rd week of August. Semester ends around the 2nd week of December and we have break during Christmas. Spring semester starts next year from the 2-3rd week of January and runs up to May

Summer semester from first week of June until August and then the cycle repeats
