i knew the polls were bullshit. they were oversampling Dems by almost 40% in some cases. that's absurd. there was a +3% Dem implicit bias in all of the polls because they were based upon 2012 turnout, and there was no way shillary was going to get the same turnout that obama had because people hate her. it's flawed logic. i knew trump was going to win when he was getting higher polling averages, rally numbers, and public funding than romney had in 2012. theoretically, all trump had to do was get +1-2% turnout over romney and he'd win the election. he surpassed that margin way back during the primaries. he was getting record voter support throughout the primaries and had a huge boost after the convention. the fucking media was lying to everyone and it's hard for me to believe they're that stupid. they were giving trump all this free coverage and keeping him in the spotlight throughout the entire year. hillary shouldn't have expected to win the election by putting all the focus on her competition. that's idiotic. i'm glad trump won but holy fuck it's been a stupid year. it's astonishing how many people fell for the "drumpf has no chance xd" gimmick, and even worse is that they wouldn't listen to evidence proving it wrong and dismissed it all as a conspiracy theory

I know it's not a new concept, but it just baffles me
I'm 26, got a good paying job, relatively successful (except for women kill me) but I've never been tempted to vote labour or any other left wing organisation, their policies scare me. You work hard, get a good job, then get slapped with a huge tax bill. I think if those who were paid the same as me, saw how much tax I was paying they'd realise how retarded it is. I'm not saying I get paid a huge amount, but I get a decent pay for a 26 year old I think, it just seems unfair that I have to pay that much.
