My family kept telling me that something like that wouldn't make me any money and I should drop it altogether and become an engineer or a medic, I also wanted to be a teacher but I got shamed into dropping that as well.

Couple that with a decade of domestic violence and I stopped dreaming at all, but I kept my principles and nowadays I strive to be the best human being I can be, so eventually people would feel drawn to me and safe around me.
