Except China's fertility rate was above replacement until 1994 and has averaged 1.7 since. Their labor force in no way is "collapsing". That's just a meme.

And in no way does a labor force determine GDP per capita or GDP growth.

For example, Poland has lost 25% of its population since 1990 but has grown 6000% in GDP.
