It's like how the 50's in America was due to how the whole world being in a mess America ad the advantage of it's competitors being ruined and infrastructure still running. Europe was ruined, Asia,South America and Africa weren't developed and Europe owned many colonies in Asia and Africa during that period and the u.S stood strong. Now the developing world is putting on pressure, more companies have more of a choice to set up in different nations and the disparities between nations is decreasing.

Once Asia and Africa catch up the labour market is gonna get fubared for the developed world. not for the developing though since the wages for them are still very good for skilled jobs and the increase in QoL.
