Have you ever heard the saying, if you are alone, you are not alone?

Regardless of the two answers you have to these questions, I would like to share with you that, while I don't want to be stubborn, I think there are all sorts of tools that can easily help people get out of their own bad situation - the internet being one of them -, but ultimately it always depends on people's own willingness to struggle for themselves, its their own strenght that saves them, not the help of someone else.

It's like throwing a life-buoy to someone who doesn't want to be saved from drowning, because of their fear of getting back to firm land, and having to stand on their own feet.

The conclusion is that in both the analogy and the real life situation, you will be doomed to live like this for all eternity until you have the courage to break through yourself.

That is depression.

With that being overcome, you have clear path to overcoming loneliness with self confidence. There are billions of people in the world waiting to be met, talked to and listened. And all it takes for you to form a potential bond is to start a conversation saying something. If you have any relatives, fixing any broken relations with them is a good start.

Finally, you can be happy by yourself, by enjoying activities of all sorts, like reading or exercising.

Ice land poster you are by far the best desu and a very well put analogy for depression though it is not always the same for every person from the tiny details to the broader picture of what you said for exsample some people might simply have the ability to grab onto the life ring and get onto land but just prefer it in the water alone with there bitterness (not trying to say it in a negative way) and missary.
