Soon even the pleasure of wine could not mask the tremendous stink of Oder and his wife and it was time for them to go. Oder and his wife moved to a location just west of the Weser River and started their own clan of Fenni. They later renamed the tribe after one of Oders grand children, Frank the Unbearable, who history says parted the Rhine because even water was afraid to touch him. During the winter war Finns were eating Russians all the time. Pic related is the skin of Russian soldier eaten by a Finnish soldier.

Wide spread cannibalism also explains what happened to the Scandinavian Eskimos.

Sardinia had a short population because of Malaria, now it's the fastest growing population (heightwise), I'm pretty tall myself and see a lot of tall guys around here, Sardinia was one of the poorest regions of Italy so malnutrition was common, add malaria to the mix and it explains why its population was so short, during ancient times Sardinians were as tall if not taller than other Southern Europeans like the Romans

In the 80s it was 171cm for Sardinia, in those 30 years or so maybe it got to 174cm at best
measured stats for Greeks put them at 177cm in 2003
as of Portuguese, 18 years olds in 2008 get to 174cm, so maybe you are right in their case
