Yeah pretty much, I live near the Mediterranean Sea
It snowed once 4 years ago for one day, otherwise I can't remember when was the last time
Luckily there are mountains nearby that get snows but not right where I am

It's not the French Alps tbf I live closer to the Pyrenees (pic related) but anyway it's that bit of mountains in the circle. It's not as high (up to 1200m) but can get snowy during winter
