DESU, if Trump destroys NAFTA, Mexico will probably be doing a lot better in 10 years or so. Mexico already made good use of NAFTA, by getting Asian and Euro corporations do build huge industrial bases in Mexico. Mexico is now diversifying their exports and wants US trade to be only 33% of exports by 2025. With NAFTA gone, Mexico will get it's agricultural sector back from US hegemony, and the US will be able to reel in a lot of it's manufacturing jobs lost to Mexico. Those massive industrial hubs in Mexico will likely just be re-geared towards export to Asia, LATAM and Europe. Had this happened 10 years ago, it would be a disaster for Mexico but this hit at the peak investment point for FDI into Mexico after all the heavy export oriented industries were installed. IRL Mexico and the US will both come out a bit better,

If he truly wants to he could put a lot of work into getting it done. Congress is now split about 50%-50% Dem vs Rep I believe. It wouldn't be too hard to get a tilt that would allow it to go through. I'm not even pro Trump but I think his anti-NAFTA stuff is correct and I think undoing it would benefit both Mexicans and Americans. Most of the Mexican left and part of the Mexican right wants NAFTA undone too. I think it should be undone, however I think his proposed 35% tariffs on Mexican made cars are idiotic.
