Just today I was walking behind some chick speaking Russian. 10 years ago this would of be unusual, but it's nearly a daily thing now

They're more southwest. I used to live in Lemont, and the whole area is chock full of poles, baltics, russians, etc. Local grocery stores are bilingual.

In NYC we have Russians and Ukrainians around Coney island/Brighton Beach (little Odessa) and Poles in Greenpoint/Ridgewood. There are suburbs to with a lot of Poles.
