Iceland was discovered during the viking age by a Norwegian explorer and it was settled, nothing much happend there but when Norway joined a union under Sweden they lost Faraoes, Iceland and Greenland to Denmark, in WW2 Iceland was occupied by Brits and after that they got their independence from Denmark peacefully and became a sovereign nation.

Norway during the viking age sailed with Denmark to the west, things like england, france and so on were attacked by them but also traded lots with Europeans.
After that they became apart of the Kalmar union with Sweden under Denmark where they stayed until the Swedish-Norwegian union, after being under Swedish control they held a referendum after around 100 years and 99.9% voted for independence, it was rather poor the first part of the 20th century(european standards) but with the discovery of oil they used that money well and didnt end up fully dependant on it unlike lots of other countries which found oil and reached nr1 HDI.
Also they invented the cheese slicer.

Denmark did pretty much what Norway did in the Viking age, as they gradually became christians they entered the late medieval era where they dominated Scandinavia with the Kalmar Union. Danes during this day were in a constant struggle against the Hanseatic league and they were both great traders most of their money during this time came from the control of Öresund toll.
When Sweden broke free they declined in power but joined the 30 year war. One part of the war was called the danish intervention where they pushed into HRE territory with good success but at the end were defeated and HRE took control over Jutland. They made a truce and no borders changed, later on they were in constant war with Sweden for the next centuries until Sweden also lost its power.
They participated in the Napoleonic wars after the brits boombared Copenhagen on Napoleons side. Due to this they lost control of Norway to Sweden as Sweden was against Napoleon

They found two wars against Prussia, they won the first one then 5-10 years later Prussia attacked again, and they had to cede their southern part of Jutland.
They got their land back (the part where danes were a majority, rest was still German) and in WW2 they got attacked by the eternal kraut yet again.

Sweden fought lots of times against Novgorod in the Finnish-Russian border lands until Novgorod got conquered by Muscovy.

The reforms under the king who liberated Sweden from the Danes made some unpopular reforms ending up with a rebellion against him by Dacks, which was then called the Dacke wars.
The king was failing this war and didnt have enough soilders, so he paid German mercenaries to put the rebellion down and won it.
In the thirty years war Sweden joined against the HRE just after Denmark got defeated by them.
With new inventions and tactics that modernised the army the king was called "father of modern warfare" by many and won a series of victories until he got shot when he rode out in the battlefield and got lost in the fog, ending up in enemy lines. The war continued but Sweden got pushed back so they signed truce after years of fighting and Sweden got hold of some north german clay.
After this Sweden war considered a great power and they waged lots of wars against their neighbours, it all started going downhill when the Great nordic war began and Denmark, Poland & Russia declared war against Sweden. Quickly Sweden went against Denmark threatening2/3

They marched to Moscow but lost the battle of Poltava.
The war kept on going for around 15 years more, mostly in Finland and Denmark declared war again.
The king tried to take over Norway this time from the Danes but got shot by them (or some say it was some scheming officers) in the middle of the battle.
Sweden lost all of their baltic and half of their German clay and the Absolute monarchy was deleted.

In WW2 Sweden gave access to Germany for their troops to pass and sold them iron earning great shekel

Finland was conquered by Swedes in the early days and added to their realm. Lots of wars between Russia and Sweden happend in Finland and Finnish troops made a big part of the empire during its time where the hakkapeliitta were feared under the 30 year war as unkillable due to witchcraft by krauts.
Finland ended up in Russian hands after the Napoleonic wars where they enjoyed grate autonomity until tsar Alexander III started its russification, angered by this finns rebelled when Russia was weak in WW1 and became a free nation at last.
They ended up as a republic after decided not to take the kraut king to their throne and fought a war against USSR where they lost, but fought very good against them.
