I used to love to go on nightwalks before I went to university
Now everywhere I go shitty undergrads are stumbling home from frat parties drunk, and it takes forever to get out of the epicenter and it's just not relaxing anymore
Also I'm used to suburban/rural areas and the constant noise and light and even just having to cross so many fucking streets is getting to me
Please help this used to be how I relaxed after a stressful day and would unwind, now I can't and I'm starting to have trouble sleeping

this summer I would go on an almost daily walk sometime between midnight and 4 am. you'd be amazed at how peaceful it is, rarely see people even in areas that are very busy during the day. it's lovely
