I remember news article while back which was about small village in Hungary where there is around 100(?) elderly Finnish people living which have nicely boosted local economy there due to needing construction workers and other professions.
Finns there were learning hungarian language and locals were not having any trouble with them.

Finno-Hungarian relations seems to work, at least somewhat.
