Why is this Brexit ruling even a problem?

Consulting MPs before triggering Article 50 is only a problem if we've been electing bad MPs who do not represent us. If that's the case, it has nothing to do with the High Court (who are merely defending Parliamentary Sovereignty) but the problem of our parties, MPs and voters.

If the MPs all supported Brexit, how would this ruling be an issue?

All that post-modernism, post-structuralism, cultural relativism and blank state stuff is nonsense.

I don't support mass migration, the EU or multi-culturalism. I support the nuclear family and many traditional values which the left often undermine.

I think the left tend be the best at anti-war/anti-interventionism and economic justice for all people, not just the super elites. That's where I agree with the left.

It's not in our interests to mindlessly follow America into every crazy foreign entanglement their Neocons get themselves into.

MP's are supposed to vote (well theres loads of opinions) what they think is best for their constituency which may not be what their constituents want. This is how British democracy works, the only input the electorate has is choosing their representative nothing more.

'Your representative owes you, not his industry only, but his judgment; and he betrays, instead of serving you, if he sacrifices it to your opinion.'

Bears are a problem in the northern parts of north america. They kill off too much deer (sometimes not even eating them) to the point where they start eating each other and their own children.

In some areas up north, you can actually get paid to hunt bears. That's how much of an issue they are. Plus black bear meet is delicious.

Why? throwing more people at a problem isnt going to solve it. People should be choosing those who are able to debate on behalf of their constituents and make sure they are heard. Britain is nothing like you describe and never has been. Why the fuck do you think working class runts suddenly know how to make economic and trade agreements? direct democracy should be limited theres nothing to be gained by crowdsourcing policy decisions.

I never really felt like I fit in. I think this is normal and common, though.
Especially when you're younger, in school.
I always felt like I was trying- faking it until I developed social skills strong enough to make people think I was invested. It was always exhausting. I learned to laugh when it was funny, cry when it was expected, when all I ever really felt was like a numb floating butterfly observing it all from a bubble of fog above the clouds.
As an adult, we gain the opportunity to expand ourselves and see that we aren't so strange, aren't so alone, even if we are. We look into and limit ourselves and convince ourselves that we have nothing and no one, when in reality we are the ones who can climb out of the darkness once we look up and into the light.

Put one party up there and let them take care of day to day business.

They're not useless, and you're not in a position of power to do anything, but your MP is in a position of some power, so you have to work with what you've got.

If you think having referendums on every single issue would solve everything in this country, you're wrong.
Don't cite Switzerland as a comparison either, apples and oranges.

How hard is it to understand that parliament is sovereign? The judges weren't some leftie saboteurs, it's pretty black and white that parliament has to vote on something to bring it into law.

There'd have had to have been a vote in parliament if Scotland had voted for independence too.

who /completelyfuckeduptheirlife/ here

dropped out of school, nothing to my name, and I'm too anxious to even do normal things like open a bank account and sign on/go to college. also been a porn addict since around 15 and started coming across some degenerate shit, tried to stop once before but now I'm just sick of it and have to stop for good

I'm still young so things could change but for now all seems hopeless. I just want to be comfy but I'm scared of everything.
>>
Important question lads.

Has anyone ever had a revelatory moment when they realised that they are completely fucking mental?

I've always known I was a bit weird or whatever, a bit of a shy sort. But I was sat here the other day thinking about my life and it just suddenly struck me that I'm fucking mad. My behaviour is completely nonsensical, and I've constructed some sort of bizarre internal reality that I use to justify said behaviour.

I must genuinely be the oddest specimen that most people in my life have ever met, a genuine subhuman freak. Does anyone have any experience with this or any advice for me?

I'm drinking again. The clock is ticking. My partner will be home soon and I will be drunk. I hate it. I just hate all of this. Sorry for being a normie by having a gf. If it's any consolation, no matter whether I get a good degree, find work, get in shape, have a LTR, live independently - I have always been and always will be miserable. There's nothing worse than doing all those things you're supposed to do in order to be happy and well adjusted but to find out that they don't help. Nothing helps. I'm fucked in the head, you see. There is no recovering from this all-pervasive despair. Yay!

I've been pretty interest in Paganism, especially Asatru, for a long time. I used to read the eddas, carve runes, and offer beer and bread to the Gods (typically in private because my parents are Christians).

Recently though I've felt like it's not the right path, and I've been feeling like Wicca makes a lot more sense.

Especially since it's easy to see Odin and Thor simply as manifestations of a greater Masculine cosmic power,
and Frigg and Freyja as manifestations of the feminine cosmic power, which are both part of a single unknowable deistic being.

And especially since a lot of elements of Wicca are clearly recognised as fantasy founding myths, while in Asatru there is still a sizeable fundementalist, literalist and Neo-Nazi fringe.

Any advice lads???

Does anyone else find their personality changes to match the expectations of the person they're talking to?

I just realized the massive degree to which I do this. Is this something that happens for normalfags all the time, or is it some weird adaptation I've taught myself so much I didn't notice it as a result of being an autist?

I can obviously see how you'd make little adaptations based on who you're with but my range is actually quite frightening. I can be a completely different person.
