JF here, I've lived in Limehouse (Tower Hamlets) and now live in Richmond. They're worlds apart; Richmond is beautiful, only issue is it's full of yanks. Limehouse is a shithole, complete and utter. Only good thing is it's close to the centre and Canary Wharf.

Where I live (Kensington and Chelsea) is basically full of rich people such as bankers, Russian oligarchs and Arab oil sheikhs. It's expensive, but nice to live in because it has zero crime and looks pretty.

City of London is where banks etc. are.

Westminster is more or less like Kensington and Chelsea.

Camden is where the hippies/"alternative" types live. Also lots of nightclubs.

Hammersmith and Fulham is a decent but boring, decidedly middle class borough

Tower hamlets is where the durkas are (case in point: get off at Whitechapel station, you will mostly see Arabic signs, women in veils, a huge ass mosque)

Outer boroughs are shitholes

Don't know much about Islington and the ones south of the river

Haha I stayed around the corner from there and you're not exhaggerating, the suburb was like 90% muslim. Almost all the women wore full niqabs/burqas. There were schools in which the name of the school was written in Arabic, and there was not a single white kid to be seen.

Islington and Hackney are both very good these days.

South of the River is shit but has it's very rich bits - Greenwich & Richmond and both lovely. Lewisham and Lambeth less so. Wandsworth a bit of both.

South is a bit shit but far out areas have some ok burbs and areas close to river in southwark etc are ok.

North east is worst area for most part.

Anything zone 1 is ok in terms of wealth cos of locality and tourists
