But I already live in Nyíregyháza Finn-bro. Very nice city. We have a good college, an amazing zoo, nice spas, overall it's very comfy.

Well you could at least go and have some kürtőskalács or Eszterházy cake, maybe buy some powdered sweet paprika too.
We don't bite y'know. Also about half the population does speak German or English.

Could you get by with English alone living there?

If you are willing to put effort into it, yes. I've met a black guy on the train in Nyíregyháza once, we talked a bit. He was from the U.S. had a Hungarian gf and was teaching English here for kindergardeners. (probably the only black guy i've seen in years).
We are a very friendly nation, and obviously as a Finn you would pique people's curiosity, everyone knows you are related to us distantly.
But a lot of people don't speak languages well. Young people will however be able to help you out most of the time.

Az állatkertet tényleg ajánlom, nagyon jó, ha már csak amiatt jössz is el megéri :) Otthonos kis város.

That's cool. I'm considering going studying abroad right now, Hungary being one of my options. The language is one of the reasons I'm kind of hesitant about it.
