well I was think Stalker 2 doesn't even have to be based in around Chernobyl but could be an offshoot of the storyline since similarly to Ukraine Japan has its own exclusion zone with Fukushima. it would make a really interesting setting for the new game that brings its own atmospheric feel to the game.

Mostly applies to Oslo and other wealthy regions where job competition is fierce, there's no other first world country with a larger percentage of its population working in the public sector (AKA mostly shit jobs with shit pay by Norwegian standards). Of course companies/people will hire cheaper/more flexible employees if available, it's not as if we can stop them from coming here or deny them the jobs if they're qualified.

There are definitely a lot of frustrated, unemployed Norwegians out there that would gladly take low-paying jobs, but find it impossible to compete with, say Polacks and Lithuanians, that are happy to work graveyard and don't care about time off work as long as they know they're making more money than they could ever dream of making back in their home countries. Same goes for young Swedes, especially in the summer season. Easy to hire, easy to fire.

Let's not act like this 'overeducated'/'overqualified' problem is unique to Norway either, the only reason so many young Swedes come here is simply because youth unemployment is so high back home, they literally can't find jobs in Sweden, so they'll happily take less appealing jobs just to make a buck. Either way, with advances in automation/technology, fewer and fewer people will be needed in many of the traditionally low-paying fields of work.

We might be too spoiled for our own good, but lazy is a stretch. Most nations with good education systems would be in the same position in a similar economic situation. What do you suggest we do to make highly educated and skilled employees want to take underpaid jobs they didn't study for when it's not needed? Teens and students are already lining up for those jobs. Even in the current 'oil crisis' the people who lost their jobs were eager to take anything they could get, hundreds applying for 1 single open position in grocery stores and the like.
