I think Latino America will never be a rich, first world region. Too much corruption, one corrupt politician dies, then his son who grew up thinking that stealing government's money is fine will take his place. And so on, and so on...

I'd be interesting to see what, let's say, some Danish or Norwegian politicians could do if they had the opportunity of running a Latino American country, I'm talking about a country completely run by the least corrupt European politicians, guys that will take pride in saying "we make this country better" or something like that. Idk I'm just dreaming here.
