as an Andean I feel more closer to Equator, Peru or even Bolivia than to Venezuela.
pic related, somewhere in Peru, but it could perfectly be the region where I live.
>>66751914
Yeah, sure indio, that you look like a bolivian doesn't mean that we all are the same, the coffee axis is the whitest in the country and doesn't even has caribbean coast and is VERY caribbean
>>66752162
this Caribbean nigro again. Yes, tje Axis very Caribbean.
You have to go back.
>>66752303
I'm talking about influence in its culture, not the way it looks retard, i'm paisa and whiter than you (that's not saying too much since boyacos look literally like bolivians) and here we are even more influenced by Argentina and Brazil than by Peru or any other andean country
Colombia has its own culture, not andean nor caribbean, something like a mix of both, but if you had to put it closer to one, it will sure be the caribbean
>>66752463
and what has whiteness to do with being Caribbean?
> and here we are even more influenced by Argentina and Brazil than by Peru or any other andean country
lol this retard. Even if Antioquia or any other area of the Colombian Andes wouldn't had any influence of other Andean countries, it still would be Andean first than anything, because it's in the fucking Andes.
Brazil has 0 influence in Colombia. Argentina too except hooligan culture and rock music.
Paisas are white-indio, with little black input, as other Colombian Andeans, it's traditional culture is the "montañero" one, which of course has nothing to do with being Caribbean. The Caribbean part of Antioquia, the Urabeños, feel alienated from you, precisely because they are Caribbean / black and you aren't.
>Colombia has its own culture, not andean nor caribbean, something like a mix of both, but if you had to put it closer to one, it will sure be the caribbean
no it depends on the region and most of Colombia is Andean. The only strong Caribbean influence in the inland part of Colombia is music and salsa, reggaeton and that shit is listened everywhere in the Western Hemisphere, anyway.
>>66752858
Talk about your mini fucking Bolivia, you don't know shit outside of it, people of Uraba don't feel alienated because they are caribbean and we don't, it's because it should be it's own department, it literally has no sense that they are part of Antioquia
>Even if Antioquia or any other area of the Colombian Andes wouldn't had any influence of other Andean countries, it still would be Andean first than anything, because it's in the fucking Andes.
We are talking culturally, not geographically
>it's traditional culture is the "montañero" one
Yes, and that culture remains in old towns, not in the big cities
>Brazil has 0 influence in Colombia.
Hahaha, yeah, if you knew you many shit we have imported from Brazil and we don't even know about it you would be surprised
>Argentina too except hooligan culture and rock music.
Atleast in Antioquia, Argentina has big influences in a lot of ways, you can even see people from towns glorifying tango and other things of argentinean culture
>>66753176
> it's because it should be it's own department, it literally has no sense that they are part of Antioquia
how so? after all both of you have a Caribbean culture, right?
>We are talking culturally, not geographically
precisely, retard. the mere fact that Antioquia is in the Andes shapes its culture as Andean. The Andean culture is not some stereotype of some Indios with llamas, it's the culture that developed in the Andean region, and Colombia is the most Andean of all countries, demographically speaking.
>Hahaha, yeah, if you knew you many shit we have imported from Brazil and we don't even know about it you would be surprised
like what?
>tango
I see that coming.
I've been trying to find one for Argentina but it's too hard.
>politics were taken from Germany and Italy
>ethnic taken from Spain, Italy, Germany and France
>economy raised by Britain and the US
>military was taken from Germany until the 1950s, later taken from Britain
The only country I could think of is Uruguay, but they still are way more liberal and democratic than us.
>>66753385
>how so? after all both of you have a Caribbean culture, right?
Atlantico and Magdalena are both caribbean, does that mean that they should be 1 department? No
>precisely, retard. the mere fact that Antioquia is in the Andes shapes its culture as Andean. The Andean culture is not some stereotype of some Indios with llamas, it's the culture that developed in the Andean region, and Colombia is the most Andean of all countries, demographically speaking.
Our culture is too influenced by blacks to be andean, and please explain to me how are we more """andean"""" than Peru or Bolivia
>like what?
Okay, maybe not exported DIRECTLY, but you just can't deny that we have many similarities between us, for some reason people say Colombia is just little Brazil
If for some reason you don't like blacks, or puerto ricans or i don't know, any other shit, i don't care, that doesn't mean that we are not more caribbean than andean
>>66753604
> Our culture is too influenced by blacks to be andean
mention these influences.
>please explain to me how are we more """andean"""" than Peru or Bolivia
I already explained, Colombia is, demographically, the most Andean (the one with the highest % of its population living there). Most Peruvians live in the coast. The biggest Bolivian citiy lies in the eastern lowlands.

DELET THIS
I've heard the Portuguese are actually quite different in their mentality from the Spaniards. Spaniards are louder and more extroverted whereas the Portuguese are kind of melancholic and reflective (Saudade etc).
Just a generalization and I'm sure it differs between regions in Spain. Can any Tuga's confirm?
>>66764547
We like to think it's true. Spain and Portugal are definitely the closest countries they have to each other, but the general mentalities are still very very different.
>>66764640
People in the Algarve and beach regions are probably more extroverted though, right?
>>66764671
Eh, maybe. The few Algarvians I know are teachers from the University and they are about as autistic as everyone else.
People in general do get happier when they go to the beach and on vacation, but when the season is over everyone is back to being quiet again.
A lot of our non-Algarve beaches are also fairly cold and stormy, particularly in the winter, so it's not as conducive to being too happy, and it's mostly that Fisherman mentality. Keep in mind we do not have a Mediterranean shore, and the more paradisiac beaches we have are protected by cliffs or are in bays to calm the sea just enough.

>>66764547
They are like Galicians in that. Tough we don't even have cliches about them (apart of them being hairer than us and towels).
>>66764849
Yeah, Portuguese/Galicians share a lot of the mentality.
I guess it's because we're rather isolated from everyone else in an area very different from the rest of the peninsula, climate and geography-wise.
>>66761453
DELET
Obligatory
>>66764828
Every Portuguese person I've met has assimilated well into New Zealand because they're more reserved than other Southern Europeans. I think our cultures are quite similar in that regard.
I'm a bit of a Portuboo so it's nice hearing bout your country meu amigo.
>>66764849
That's interesting, though I've heard attitudes vary a lot between regions in Spain
>>66764978
Everyone I've managed to get into Flight of the Conchords/Taika Waititi movies absolutely loved them. In some weird way I think that NZ and Portugal have quite a few similarities in regards to humour and mood.
Weird, because we couldn't be geographically further apart.
Spain is a weird country because it has very dense cities that very isolated from each other. Most of it is a desert. Not unlike Australia.
Shit, the Iberian Peninsula and the Southern Anglosphere islands have a lot of parallels now that I think of it.
>>66761453
In the philipines the kill drugdealers in mexico they put them in power
>>66765102
Our wages and working conditions have nothing to do with the Australians/NZ ones m8
>>66761539
>Sweden and Norway are much closer
we are unique you swamp nigger
>>66765199
Parallels don't necessarily mean the countries are the same.
But the relationship between NZ and Australia has some similar things to the relationship between Portugal and Spain. The modern one, at least.
Both are flat and both speaks terrible
>>66764640
>but the general mentalities are still very very different
nah
both normie shit
What happened here?
