Nah, I haven't drawn Madotsuki (yet). I'm pretty bad myself, so I only share mine privately. It's hard to stay motivated if you see how bad you are and start ripping papers apart till you can finally finish something okay. So you just do it because you are bored or do you also practise?

I know that feel. I had it for years. Sometimes I fear looking at what I draw months or even years ago, knowing that what I see will be horrid.

I really do not even know how or why I gotten into the habit of doodling things. I know I just do it or feel like it when I am bored. Since I do it quite regularly, I guess that might count as 'practice'. My mom saw a pervy yuri drawing I did once and it was embarrassing when she found it out. Oddly enough she simply asked me why I only draw girlish things.

I'd call it more scriibling than.drawing though. If I try to draw seriously I get frustrated far too quickly and rage quit. It's a shame,I think I'd enjoy drawing more regularly if I had a certain level but that is just out of grasp and I'm too weak willed to pull through.

The most important thing is too work on your fundamentals and try practising 3D stuff, you can apply everything you learned to 2D stuff. But it's so hard to keep improving and not going back to that spiral of depression and demotivation.

The lewd thing is always a problem, especially if it's yuri I guess. But if you don't have any trouble with her because of it, everything should be okay.

Oh, as long as she won't mention it again, everything should be good. Or maybe try to draw more manly drawings :^) But seriously, talent isn't that important when it comes to art, I was shit while starting and am still kinda shitty, practising will always be the most important thing and even if you reach a point at which you are only getting depressed while drawing, try to push more and more till you finally finish something okay again. The pain is important if you want to be truly good I suppose.

Nah, I don't feel good enough for drawthreads and would I rather not share my art, it's more like a solitary activity for me. I started with drawing scenes from real life and my mind, it's the only way to get good at fundamentals, that's also the major problem of people who want to draw 2D, it lacks everything, from shadows to anatomy etc., but I'm not a person who can judge them for it. I'd say doodle which is probably why progress is very slow. Going the /ic/ route I worry takes a lot of devotion which I cannot afford ATM due to uni stuff, especially when it is my final year. But I do hope after graduation I can focus on getting into it more thoroughly than what I currently do.

Yes, I draw every evening just to switch off and disconnect from all the daily stress too. I draw mostly realistic pictures or sometimes a bit stylized comics, but never did anime. It's just something different and I admire people who can actually think in this abstract way.

Oh, that's quite the opposite from me, I draw because I need to do something productive during the day. And admiring this sort of style is also pretty rare outside of 4chan atleast. It's easy for me to have ideas in my head, maybe it sounds strange, but I rarely see real people and am more used to see anime stylized persons, so my brain adapted to it in a way and it's bizarre for me to think about real people. It's like the solitude changed my mind and the best way to adapt to it was to change reality or something, it's strange. Do you have any drawings in the direction of comics you you want to share?
