this. only thing amazed you while checking it was the population and the size of the lakes
I kind of miss the feeling of the unknown that we had back then when reading. You had just a short glimpse of what a country could look like and had to imagine the rest. I think it was good for the brain.

parents gave me a set of puzzles (6, one for each continent except Antarctica) of the world map. also cable movies

Oh god, I remember Encarta.
There was this little mini-game where you went through a maze and answered random trivia questions. I still remember how mad I was they discontinued it.
