Well, how should I put it. I've seen Russian students cheat in the admission tests to medical school and groups of drunk Russian students are pretty loud (but not violent). Russian, Kazakh and Ukrainian students I've met seemed all friendly, outgoing and warm-hearted.

On the hand I've seen really disgusting and unjustifiable bigotry against Russians from Czechs and Slovaks.

Apart from normal people who happen to be Russians, you can be divized into two categories. There's the somewhat wealthy russians who can afford to travel to western europe, shop around etc. who are usually arrogant as fuck and seem to think they're better than everyone even though they act like children half of the time. Then there are the bydlos etc. retards who act more uncivilized than fucking somalians, these people glorify violence, alcohol etc. and think you need to act as a tough guy all the time. I have nothing against the normal russians, but sadly a great deal of russians fall into one of these categories.

I want to clarify something first; no sane person would go around actively hating Russian people. That's just a complete waste of time. In fact, I've had many very positive experiences with Russians so far, especially at University. I went to visit St. Petersburg two years ago, and I really enjoyed my stay.

What I do harbor, though, are some uneasy feelings about your very authoritarian government and its geopolitical ambitions. It seems Putin's only goal is to destabilize Europe (Syria, Ukraine, Georgia, the North Sea etc.) and just generally fuck shit up to gain popularity within Russia. We can play the blame game all day long, but the fact of the matter is, if you government would stop sticking its fat nose allover the place, none of this would have happened. It really DOES NOT have to be like this.

And for that reason, you shouldn't be surprised by Western sanctions or negative press. I get it, you used to be a superpower. But where the Brits have come to terms with the course of history, you seem to be stuck in illusions of a grand past which stopped existing a long, long time ago.

Westerners like to do the hardest thing. Russians do what they're inclined to. Which could be writing incredible literature, or drinking every day. I can't help but see parallels between Putin and Stalin. I don't care for it. Since the 90's when I was growing up I watched the USSR implode, everything went to shit, then Russia slowly but surely crawls it's way back up.

For the longest time it was pretty cunning, using economic pressure where it could, maintaining a semblance of neutrality, etc. and being a voice of reason in a time of world wide proxy wars and "Insurgencies." Now I currently find myself questioning the motives of the Kremlin. Are they really so desperate that they want to go back to USSR/US era "I'LL NUKE YOU" "NU UH I'LL NUKE YOU" diplomacy?

Moreover, I have to question anybody who pushes the political line "The European homosexuals are going to sodomize us unless we're stronk." I mean, seriously? I thought it was a joke so I marathoned me some Russian TV and holy shit if your gov. isn't literally trying to create a mythical Maoh-kun Faggot mythology where gays are going to ride rainbow shitting unicorns into the country and rape everyone yesterday.

Making it worse, was Crimeans actually buying this and saying they needed Russia to protect them from the gays. It's really pathetic. Ivan's rolling in his grave. Are Russians seriously this weak-minded? It takes this to promote unity there? Or is it just that the Kremlin is literally that uncreative and the average Russian is actually that stupid?

I don't rely on news. I heard a thing on the Radio. I went and watched for myself. I follow treaties, blockades, and read what bills and directives are coming out of the whitehouse/congress then just watch Russia's reaction.

It's actually really obvious. Russia was picking up economic steam, US/Europe tried to blockade/economically block Russia in all directions without outright declaring sanctions. Made treaties that excluded Russian access to various ports/land routes/etc. Assad says "U can dock in MY port babeh," and mysteriously the US wants Assad dead and buried.

What bothers me is "The West is trying to literally wrap around our necks like a giant anaconda 'coz we're not falling in step" isn't good enough for the average Russian to rally up apparently.
